Description: This exceptional hunter is the masterful effort of David Brodziak, Richard Chapman, and Carol Anne O'Conner. David began the knife by creating the recurve drop point blade from Twist pattern Damasteel. The steel has tremendous chatoyancy and will hold a keen, long lasting edge. The ferrule is formed from nickel silver and 416 stainless steel. Both the stainless ferrule and the butt plate were engraved by Richard Chapman in highly complex floral scrolls. The wood handle was formed from Australian Jarrah wood. As is typical of Brodziak's work, the wood was black lacquered and painted by Australian artist Carol Anne O'Conner. Rose vines travel around the handle, nicely complimenting Richard's engraving. The handle is nicely shaped and fits comfortably in the hand. Exceptional fit and finish throughout!
