Description: This folding liner lock by South African knifemaker Nico Pelzer is a spectacular gentleman's folder. Nico is best known for making smaller folders. This, with a 4 in. blade length, is certainly the exception.
The blade is formed from twist pattern Damascus forged in South Africa by Freek Morsner. Nico has created a leaf shaped blade that is extremely dramatic. It is perfectly centered, with smooth action and is easily opened using the knurled thumb stud.
The double bolsters (front and rear) are formed from "linked chains" pattern mosaic Damascus by Ettoré Gianferarri. This Damascus combines carbon steel into highly detailed 'chain' patterns in the steel. The resulting bolsters are grab attention from a distance and hold it upon closer examination. Gianferarri's highly prized damascus is forged in small runs so that the same Damascus is rarely seen on multiple folders. Bolsters meet perfectly and surround black lip mother of pearl. Titanium liners are bronze anodized and fileworked. Damascus back spacer. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
