Description: Mastersmith Kevin Harvey creates knives that have unique flair that is rarely found elsewhere. This dagger ground blade has the very crisp grind lines you come to expect from this consummate craftsman. The 8 bar Turkish twist pattern Damascus blade shows the complex pattern off well. Bars of twist pattern Damascus are set in opposing directions so as to create a chatoyancy to the steel that is extremely rare.
The S-guard is forged to shape from mild steel that has been hot gun blued and inlayed with 24k gold accents. The box elder wood handle gently swells to fit the hand comfortably and flows into the Damascus ferrule which is offset with bronze spacers and a bronze habaki (blade guard). The bronze fittings have been engraved by Kevin and showcase a .14k diamond. Exceptional fit and finish throughout.
