Description: Anders specializes in combining traditional Japanese construction with traditional Nordic styles of knives. Anders uses a traditional Japanese method of tempering a blade that involves coating the spine of the knife in clay. This produces the dramatic hamon (temper line) as well as creating a knife with superior edge-holding ability.
While being beveled, the blade shape is heavily influenced by tantos. The hamon is particularly well developed and shows off Ander's skill at its best. The handle is formed from swamp yate. This extremely rare wood has brilliant flames moving through the warm toned handle. The fit between blade and copper bolster is seamless, as is the fit between handle and bolster. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
