Description: The half-horn style is among my favorite knives coming from Swedish maker. There is an integration of sheath and knife that is rarely found in other knives.
The multi-bar Damascus blade is forged from carbon steels. The firecracker edge bar combines 15N20 and 20C carbon steels for a keen, long lasting edge. The sculpted handle combines warthog tusk with fossil walrus ivory and desert ironwood. The effect is spectacular. The knife feels extremely comfortable in the hand, in part due to the gentle swell of the handle at the palm. The contrasting tones of the fossil walrus ivory and warthog tusk with the deep tones of the exhibition grade ironwood makes this a captivating piece. The same tones and sculpting are reflected in the sheath. As is typical of this style, the knife slips into the sheath with a secure click. Exceptional work throughout!
