Description: Johan Gustafsson's folders are imbued with a spirit all their own. Antediluvian Mammoth and Damascus Folder features a very dense Damascus Fireball pattern forged from carbon steels. By using 15N20 and 20C, Johan assures a keen, long lasting edge. The blade is opened with an 18k gold thumb stud that holds a sparkling ruby. Front and rear bolsters feature Damascus that matches the blade and have each been dovetailed for a perfect fit into superlative fossil mammoth ivory scales. The ivory has caramel and chocolate tones with silver veins. The silver in the ivory is extremely rare and desirable. The bronze toned, anodized titanium liners have each been fully fileworked and accent the Damascus backbar beautifully. Johan has continued the filework from the liners into the edge of the fossil mammoth ivory scales. 18k gold plated screws are used throughout. Silky smooth action with a well centered blade.
