Description: This exceptional presentation skinner is the work of Tom Sterling, who recently added forging to his inventory of skills. Tom is best known for as a netsuke artist and his attention to detail has translated well to this piece. The blade was hand forged from 1095 carbon steel. An appleseed grind assures a keen, long lasting edge. The spine has been forge-textured for a dramatic rustic appearance. The handle combines boxwood and fossil walrus ivory. Celtic knots surround a fossil walrus ivory moon. Accompanied by ironwood display stand.
