Description: Bladesmith Peter Bromley specializes in historical recreations. His work is both creative and historically accurate. Philadelphia cutlers English & Huber made bowies in the Sheffield style in the mid 1800s. This replica of their work features an ebony handle with nickel silver details. The nickel silver guard, ferrule and butt bring the weight back toward the handle for a very fast knife in the hand. The blade was forged from 1084 carbon steel and satin finished. Nice work throughout on a knife that is very true to tradition!
