Description: This exceptional battle axe is a force to be admired and handled. The Damascus pattern forged by Bill for both the head and the top cap was manipulated to give it a flame-like appearance. The cutting edge measures 4 3/4 inches. The head measures 6 1/4 inches across. The maple haft is 20.9 inches and has been inlaid with sterling silver wire for a Viking-inspired appearance. The hand sewn leather wrapped handle gives a great two-fisted grip.
