Description: Swedish knifemaker Greger Forselius has a sense of design rarely found elsewhere. This results in exceptionally artistic and creative works such as this one.
The dagger blade has been flat ground on one side and dagger ground on the other. This reveals a remarkable range of patterns in the stainless Damascus. The edges have been sharpened into an extremely keen edge.
The stacked handle is formed from sections of ebony, side-cut fossil walrus ivory, and mammoth ivory. Pewter spacers separate the layers. The handle is finished off with a brass pommel and fileworked Damascus cap. The tang is screwed into the brass pommel, resulting in a very strong construction. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
