Description: Neil McKee is well known for his knives which draw their inspiration from an earlier era. This Indian style knife features a detailed sheath formed from rawhide lined brain tanned deer leather which is smoked. It is decorated with plans style beads and porcupine quill work. The blade was forged from a Nicholson file. The flats show the remains of the abrasive file, while the spine has been fileworked for an elegant thumb purchase. The elk antler handle fits comfortably into the hand, swelling toward the butt for a secure hold. Excellent work throughout.
