Description: Roger Bergh's knives have a feel all of their own -- by combining rare, museum grade materials his work has a "lush-ness" rarely found elsewhere.
The multi-bar Damascus blade is formed from two separate bars of Damascus steel. The spine bar is a twist pattern, whereas the edge is a complex explosion pattern. 15N20 and 20C carbon steels assure a keen, long lasting edge.
The stacked handle is sculpted from exhibition grade desert ironwood surrounding a cross-cut section of fossil walrus ivory. Marble textured secondary dentine (osteodentine) is surrounded by radiating caramel and cream tones. The desert ironwood has a swirling grain structure and deep red tones. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
