Description: Roger Bergh's knives have a feel all of their own. The Damascus blade was forged from five bars of Damascus. A central twist pattern bar is surrounded by lizard scales pattern Damascus bars. Finally, the edge and spine are forged from 15N20 and 20C carbon steels and are a dramatic firecracker pattern. The front of the guard is sterling silver. The sides have been polished, whereas the front face has been textured. A basket weave pattern ferrule separates the guard from the highly sculpted desert ironwood handle. By combining sculpting and texturing, Roger has created a very comfortable handle. Warm red/brown tones predominate. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
