Description: I'm particularly fond of Roger's "Fish" pattern Damascus, which he uses as the center of this blade. It is forged together with the "W" pattern Damascus and then joined to the "Firecracker" edge and spine. The result is a well etched and very complex blade.
The handle is a fossil walrus ivory artifact. It the late 1800's it was formed into an ice axe handle. The base was nicely sculpted by the original craftsman and Roger has left this section intact. Front spaces are formed from cross sections of fossil walrus ivory. The handle is extremely comfortable in the hand and very dramatic. Exceptional fit and finish throughout.
