Blade: Heat colored Mosaic Damascus blade forged by Johan Gustafsson from carbon steels
Handle: Stabilized camel bone with spacers created from black and gold stabilized birch, stellar sea cow cheek bone and nickel silver
Sheath: Traditional Swedish tooled leather sheath
Description: Swedish knifemaker Greger Forselius has a sense of design rarely found elsewhere. The stacked handle is formed from stabilized camel bone along with spacers created from stabilized black and gold masur birch, stellar sea cow bone and nickel silver. Greger has scrimshawed the right side of the camel bone with a spider web and spider. The resulting handle is dramatic and fits comfortably in the hand.
The blade was forged by Swedish bladesmith Johan Gustafsson. Johan's work is well known for its dramatic colors and complex patterns. Radials of stars and checkerboards move throughout the blade. The twist pattern edge was forged from 20C and 15N20 carbon steels. Exceptional work throughout!
