Description: Swedish knifemaker Greger Forselius has a sense of design rarely found elsewhere. This highly detailed Swedish Puukko hunting knife brings together Gergor's work with that of bladesmith Roger Bergh. An explosion pattern edge and spine surround a mosaic central bar. Edge bars are forged from 20C and 15N20 carbon steels for exceptional edge holding.
The blade is matched to the dramatic handle. Sections of Swedish masur birch separate sculpted fossil mammoth ivory. Nickel silver spacers surround larger fileworked Damascus spacers. The handle has been nicely sculpted for a comfortable hand-hold. The last section of mammoth ivory has been scrimshawed. Excellent fit and finish throughout. Greger's masterpiece to date!
