Description: Swedish knifemaker Greger Forselius has a flair for design. This handle on this Swedish Puukko has been highly sculpted the resulting shape is well rounded, fitting securely and comfortably in the hand. The handle combines cross-cut mastodon ivory, ebony, Damascus steel, and stabilized giraffe bone. Fully fileworked nickel silver spacers separate sections. The butt is sculpted from cross- cut fossil mammoth ivory and results in a very secure grip in the hand. The ivory shows off terrific grain structure. Decorative mosaic pins.
The blade is formed from Damasteel stainless Damascus steel forged in Sweden. The pattern shows off well both from a distance and up close.
Excellent work throughout.
