Mastersmith Jerome Anders follows in the footsteps of his father, Mastersmith David Anders. Though David is a tough act to be compared with, Jerome has proven himself to be up to the challenge.
This drop point utility is as at home in the kitchen as out in the field. The blade, bolster and full tang are all forged from a single piece of 5160 carbon steel round bar. The blade was forged to shape and distal tapered for optimal balance. A differentially heat treatment results in a softer, supportive spine, with a super-hard, long lasting, razor sharp edge. The ironwood scales have been nicely fit to the distal tapered tang. The tang has been created "sideways" from the usual orientation, resulting in a very captivating look and feel. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
