Description: An exceptional Wayne Whittaker folder. The blade and bolsters are both formed from mosaic Damascus forged by some of the best out there. The Damascus used for the blade was originally forged by Robert Eggerling and shows off a complex checkerboard of spiderwebs. Wayne hollow ground the blade and heat colored it to show off blacks, purples, greens, and more. The blade is easily opened using the textured thumb stud. It is well centered and has silky action. Heat blued bolsters show off a brilliant explosion mixing black with silver. Scales are formed from giraffe bone and sit on fileworked, blue anodized titanium liners. The backbar has been fileworked and is inlaid with three sections of matching giraffe bone. Excellent work throughout.
