Description: Mastersmith Wayne Goddard makes an exceptional slip joint folder. This one was created by him in November of 1988 and has been meticulously cared for since then. It is in new condition and has never been used to cut. This knife is #547.
The wire Damascus blade was forged to shape and has a central high carbon steel core. A thumb nick results in an easy open. The liners are formed from brass and surround a fileworked carbon steel back spring. The scales are formed from the tip of an elk antler. They are precisely dovetailed to snakewood bolsters. Exceptional work throughout.
