Description: Nico Pelzer's knives are a pleasure in the hand. The gently rounded surface of this small folder fits comfortably into the palm.
The Damascus for the dramatic blade was forged by South African bladesmith Freek Morsner using carbon steels. The exceptional pattern immediately grabs attention. The spine has been lightly textured for a secure thumb purchase, resulting in an easy flipper style opening.
The bolsters are made from Timascus. Layers of Titanium are forged together into a Damascus pattern. This material was invented by US maker, Tom Ferry. Tom continues to be one of the very few makers in the world capable of making it. Fossilized mammoth ivory scales are set on blue anodized, fileworked titanium liners. The mammoth ivory is primarily a light caramel tone, but shows veins of wine that nicely compliment the tones in the Timascus. Damascus backbar. Excellent fit and finish with a perfectly centered blade and great action.
