Description: The rifleman's knife was a 19th century standard. A great all-around design, McKee's version of it makes it clear why he well known in re-enactment circles. Neil forged the blade from 5160 carbon steel and gave it an antique finish. The flats show the remains of forge marks, for a truly authentic feel. Toward the ricasso, the spine has been fileworked resulting in a sure thumb purchase. The elk handle provides a sure hand-hold. Excellent work with a great fit and finish so as to feel at home either in a collection or out in the field.
