Description: The sturdy stainless steel blade is fileworked in the vine pattern and has a tapered tang for especially good balance. A cryogenic heat treat makes the blade have a particularly aggressive edge that will hold its sharpness. It was heat treated to Rc 60-61 (very hard), making a knife that will perform amazingly in the field. The maple burl scales have terrific, swirling grain patterns and are nicely offset by the sheephorn spacers. The fit and finish, along with the fileworked spine, make this a knife that will feel at home in a collection or out in the field.
