Description: Raymond Richard's designs have a timeless grace about them that comes from a family heritage of knifemaking and the inclusion of hard to find materials from the past.
This upswept utility knife has a great feel in the hand. The blade was forged from W2 carbon steel and has been antiqued. A differential heat treatment results in an edge that is extremely hard and will stay sharp through extended use.
The guard and butt are forged from wrought iron that was recovered from an 1850s era anchor chain. The wrought iron has a Damascene pattern and has been carved to perfection. A hammered finish continues the antiqued feel to the knife. The fossil oosik handle is comfortable in the hand. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
