Description: This presentation group of three museum grade Central Plains style arrows was created by Tom Sterling and JP Higgins. Joe Higgins, who has been flint knapping knives for over 10 years, created the arrow heads. This skill is matched in the detailed handle created by Tom Sterling, who has brought his attention to detail learned as an internationally known netsuke artist to this piece.
The arrows are created in the style of the Central Plains Native American people, from Northern California. The points were pressure flaked, heat treated jasper and are set on fire-straightened red osier dogwood shafts with turkey feather fletching.
A walnut wall display rack is included.
