Description: This collaborative effort between Swedish bladesmiths Roger Bergh and Conny Persson as well as US bladesmith Nick Wheeler is exceptional. The blade was forged by Conny using 15N20 and 20C carbon steels for a high contrast, perfectly centered pattern. The blade was hollow ground for dramatic grind lines by Roger Bergh. Both Roger and Conny have signed the blade. The Damascus quillion and spacer are each forged from firecracker Damascus by Nick Wheeler -- drawing on the Swedish influence of the blade. The dark African blackwood handle is very comfortable in the hand, swelling at the base for a secure hand hold. Finished off with a Damascus screw. Exceptional work throughout!
