Handle: From blade to butt: 40,000-60,000 year old horse metacarpus bone, mastodon ivory, desert ironwood, killer whale tooth, desert ironwood, two tones of horse metacarpus bone
Sheath: Tooled cowhide leather with traditional Swedish tooling by Roger Bergh. Single seam.
Description: This one-of-a-kind collaboration piece by Roger Bergh and Conny Persson is everything that you could possibly hope for. The blade was forged and shaped by Conny, whereas the sheath and handle were completed by Roger Bergh. The blade has been forged to shape, which is accentuated by the dramatic "firecracker" pattern following edge of the blade. The choice of handle materials is amazing -- talk about having history! This a stunning example of just how beautiful Scandinavian knives can be!
