Description: Mastersmith David Anders specializes in Bowie knives -- it is a style that he has clearly perfected.
This Southwest style Bowie has fossil walrus ivory scales with two large stainless steel pins on each side, creating a very dramatic look. The fossil walrus ivory has a nice mix of cream and caramel tones. By casing the tang in 416 stainless steel, David protects it from skin oils, which could otherwise cause the tang to oxidize. Stars are engraves on the guard and throughout the stainless steel case, to a very nice effect. Attention has been paid to every detail.
