Description: Swedish knifemaker Greger Forselius has a flair for design. The stacked handle on this traditional Swedish Puukko is well rounded, fitting securely and comfortably in the hand. The main part of the handle is formed from black and gold dyed and stabilized masur birch burl. Brass spacers have been fileworked. Mammoth ivory and pink ivory wood result in an excellent contrast. The front 'bolster' is created from stabilized oak. The butt is formed from reindeer antler and warthog tusk. Four steel pins and a mosaic pin finish out the butt cap.
The blade is created from stainless Damascus by Damasteel. The tightly twisted pattern is dramatic and immediately grabs attention. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
