Description: Swedish knifemaker Greger Forselius has a flair for design. This hunting Bowie is exceptionally large for a Swedish Knife, with the fileworked blade measuring 5 inches. The blade is made from RWL34 stainless steel -- this steel, which is still very rare in the US, has exceptional edge holding. The handle is formed primarily from deep black buffalo horn with reindeer horn. Detailing and spacers are created from pewter and copper with brass pins. The copper spacers have been fileworked and the handle nicely sculpted for a secure hold in the hand. The reindeer antler and the buffalo horn have both been scrimshawed. The pommel is formed from sculpted reindeer antler that has also been scrimshawed. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
