Description: I have long been a fan of Roger Bergh's work. His control over Damascus and his skill at combining exotic materials set him apart as an artist. It is with great pleasure that I can present one of the true masterpieces created by Roger.
The blade is forged to shape from Roger's Spiderweb pattern Damascus using 12C27 and 20C carbon steels. The blade moves seamlessly into a warthog tusk bolster. Spacers are created from buffalo horn, warthog tusk, and dyed and stabilized masur birch.
The snow queen's torso and head are carved by Isak Bergh. The elven face is sculpted in a very lifelike style, with flowing hair descending from her crown. 18k gold details on the tips of the crown finish out this masterpiece. Surprisingly for such a heavily sculpted knife, the handle is extremely comfortable and fits perfectly into the hand.
As you would expect, the fit and finish are exceptional and the impact tremendous.
