Description: This is a great hunter. Bill forged the blade from virgin 1 1/2 round stock, 3 times quenched and 3 times tempered. This heat treating technique as been proven over and over to make 52100 steel a true high performer. The blade was hand rubbed to a 600 grit satin finish. Bill then made it more distinctive by forging the guard, spacer and pommel from his own Damascus. These surround a beautiful piece of stabilized redwood burl. The tang is continuous through the handle and is threaded to the pommel. The pouch style sheath is hand sewn from quality 8 oz. leather
