Description: Jim has worked to refine his designs to an exceptional level, with an eye for excellent fit and finish. The 3 ¾” blade has a distal tapered tang. Satin finished 416 stainless steel bolsters are dovetailed toe the mammoth ivory. The spine has been fileworked, providing a secure place for your thumb when working in the field. Red liner sets off the beauty of the mammoth ivory handle and allows the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity when out in the field. The blade has been heat treated by a true expert in ATS-34 -- D’ Alton Holder. The blade has been hollow ground, with a beautiful mirror finish. The knife comes with a sheath made by Jim and would be excellent for someone who collects knives or just likes a good one for work in the field.
