Description: Jeff Driscoll creates knives that transcend simply being a sharp object and move into true art.
The blade is twist pattern Damascus forged by Matthias Styrefors in Sweden.
The handle is sculpted from African blackwood and desert ironwood -- two of the hardest woods on the earth. The sculpted is entirely done by hand and shows tremendous ability as well as fit and finish. Jeff has inlaid 88 separate pieces of sterling silver to create scales.
The sheath is formed from Brazilian rosewood and is the face and upper torso of a Sea Dragon. Teeth are hand formed from nickel silver. The blade, when inserted into the sheath, forms the tongue. The eyes are inlaid in fine silver, nickel silver, brass, and copper. The upper f the sheath is formed from nickel silver and has been etched with a scale pattern . A very inspired work of art!
