Description: Jim has chosen to specialize in hunters and this has allowed him to refine his designs to an exceptional level. This gents hunter has a 3 1/4" blade with filework that starts on the spine and continues around the tang. This provides a secure place for your thumb while working. Jim has his blades heat treated by a true expert in ATS-34: D'Alton Holder. Red fiber liners set off the beauty of the mammoth ivory handle and helps to adjust to changes in temperature and humidity. The pins are mosaic. The blade is hollow ground for easy maintenance and has a long lasting satin finish. This would be a great knife for a collector or out in the field.
