Description: Brazilian bladesmith Luciano Dorneles is perhaps best known for his integral knives. The steel on the knife is forged from one single piece of steel. This technique shows tremendous skill and ingenuity. On a Damascus knife, this is a particularly dramatic effect because the Damascus of the blade continues into the bolster and tang seamlessly.
Giraffe bone scales sit on a distal tapered tang, resulting in an optimal balance in the hand. On the right hand side, Dorneles has inset a Damascus escutcheon, for a particularly dramatic appearance. A lanyard hole and two nickel silver pins finish off this exceptional knife. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
