Description: Journeyman Smith John Parks creates an exceptional knife. Beginning with 5160 round bar, he has forged this hunter with an integral guard. This technique shows tremendous skill and creates a knife with exceptional integrity. The blade has been differentially heat treated resulting in a very long lasting edge. A satin finish to the blade and an antiqued finish on the bolster creates a true heirloom feel to this knife. The dark ironwood handle fits perfectly to the integral bolster. The ironwood has dark red grain moving across the chocolate background. The butt is finished off with fossil walrus ivory. Captivating for the eye and comfortable in the hand.
