Description: Mastersmith Kevin Harvey creates an exceptional knife. This bird and trout knife features a long, slender blade with a distal taper and slight flex. The blade has been hollow ground for a very high performing, easy to maintain edge. The damascus is a ladder pattern that is forged in such a way as to create chatoyancy similar to that of a tiger's eye (and also evident in tiger maple). A nickel silver guard separates the blade from the tiger maple handle. The pattern of the damascus is beautifully reflected in the dramatic grain of the high-contrast wood. The handle is completed with a single mosaic pin. Exceptional work throughout.
