Description: It is tremendously rare to find a fixed blade knife by Mastersmith Rick Dunkerley. Every so often, however, the inspiration hits and the result is beyond compare.
Matching Damascus was forged for the blade and s-guard. Both have been heat blued to a deep iridescent purple. The guard has been textured in some places and heat blued to golden hues. A spacer between the guard the fossil walrus ivory handle is forged from 15N20 carbon steel and has been textured and heat blued.
The handle is carved from a single piece of fossil walrus ivory and is predominantly cream toned with islands of caramel. It has been carved and textured, providing both tremendous interest for the eye and a secure hand hold.>br> As you would expect, exceptional fit and finish throughout. A knife that has to be held!
