Description: The sturdy stainless steel blade is fileworked in the vine pattern and has a tapered tang for especially good balance. A cryogenic heat treat makes the blade have a particularly aggressive edge that will hold its sharpness. It was heat treated to Rc 59-60, making a knife that hold a long lasting edge. The California buckeye burl scales have exceptional swirling grain structure and a nice mix on tones. The meet perfectly to the red fiber spacers at the dovetailed textured brass bolsters. The fiber will allow this knife to adjust nicely to temperature and humidity changes. The fit and finish, along with the fileworked spine, make this a knife that will feel at home in a collection and is sturdy enough for out in the field.
