Description: Swedish bladesmith Roger Bergh is a true master. His work has a unique timeless quality and definitive style. Explosive Stars features a blade forged from firecracker Damascus (15N20 and 20C carbon steels) surrounding an stars pattern Damascus core. The blade has a boot knife grind, with a long false edge and leads smoothly into the nickel silver and Damascus spacers. Stars pattern Damascus in the bolster reflects the patterns of the blade. The handle is sculpted from sallow, a broad leafed European willow. The wood is exceptional, showing off primarily warm dark tones with lighter rays moving across the background. The knife is finished off with a lanyard loop forged from Roger's snakeskin Damascus and a leather lanyard. Exceptional work on very unique knife by Roger.
