Description: Journeyman smith Jerome Anders learned to make knives under the watchful eyes of his father, Mastersmith David Anders. Like his father, Jerome has a meticulous attention to detail and skill of implementation.
The Southwest coffin case handled Bowie has tremendous flair. The blade has a long clip and has been hand satin finished. The differential heat treatment assures exceptional edge holding. The giraffe bone handle has been stabilized and dyed a subdued blue/grey tone. Veins of darker blue make the handle fascinating. The case style handle is often used by Jerome's father -- nickel silver encloses the tang so that the carbon steel tang will not oxidize when held. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
