Description: This Roger Bergh masterpiece is among my favorite knives that he has created to date. The handle has been highly sculpted, with lines that are organic feeling, creating a perfect hold in the hand. The natural grain of the desert ironwood is particularly choice with dramatic swirls of lighter browns and nearly black. The fossil walrus ivory spacer is caramel toned and revels the central core of the ivory. A Damascus scarab beetle is set on both sides. Each one has detailing in 18k gold. A leather thong finishes off the handle and holds a fossil oosic bead.
A master at the forge, Roger has created a three bar composite blade with complex Damascus patterns throughout. The choice of steels assures a long lasting, easy to maintain edge.
Excellent fit and finish throughout.
