Description: Jim's hunting knives are a study as they are elegant. A hunter himself, his knives have been heavily tested out in the field over the years.
The blade forged from carbon steels into a pattern that James calls Lazy Diamond. This pattern shows tremendous control. By combining 1084 and L6 carbon steels, Jim assures that his blades with have exceptional edge retention.
The box elder burl handle has been dyed and stabilized so that it will be sturdy and reliable. Alternating layers of pre-ban ivory, reconstituted lapis, and sugalite separate the handle from the guard. Both the guard and butt cap are forged from Damascus matching the blade. The fit and finish is excellent. Numbered C81.
