Description: This well made and subtly beautiful bowie is a wonderful addition to any collection. The blade is a hollow ground 440C stainless steel with a satin finish on the edge, which will hold an excellent edge. The false edge and the flats are mirror polished, with fileworking on the spine. By mirror polishing the flats of the blade and satin finishing the grinds, Jim accentuates the dramatic grind lines. The blade has been heat treated to Rc 57/58 for optimal edge retention. The brass guard and butt are a bright contrast to the black ebony handle. The handle has brass, buffalo and amber spacers. Comes with certificate from the maker.
