The classic lines of this sole authorship Bowie makes it clear why the Bowie has become the quintessential American knife. It inspires our national pride and dreams. The blade was forged to shape from 1084 and 15N20 carbon steels for optimal edge retention. A fileworked nickel silver spacer sits behind the oval guard.
The handle is formed from fossilized walrus ivory. This piece has tremendous texture and coloration with a creamy background with gray and caramel highlights. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
