Description: Journeyman smith Jerome Anders learned to make knives under the watchful eyes of his father, Mastersmith David Anders. Like his father, Jerome has a meticulous attention to detail and skill of implementation.
The classically styled stag drop point hunter has a graceful shape to the blade that has made this one of the most popular shapes of knives. The blade was forged to shape from 5160 carbon steel and has a hand rubbed satin finish. The spine has been lightly fileworked at the thumb rest for a sure grip.
The handle is formed from sheep horn. This material is very stable and an ideal material for hunting knives. It holds up well under use, and when wet has a 'grippy' surface that assures a solid grip. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
