Description: This folding liner lock by South African knifemaker Nico Pelzer is a great piece. The blade and backbar feature Damascus by bladesmith Ettoré Gianferarri. His patterns are unique and created in very small runs so that the same Damascus is rarely seen on multiple folders. The knurled thumb stud assures easy opening.
The bolsters are made from Gibeon Meteorite that landed in Great Namaqualand, Namibia, Africa, over 4 billion years ago. The Gibeon fragments are spread over one of the largest strewn fields in the world, measuring 70 miles wide by 230 miles long and have a distinctive pattern known as the Widmanstatten pattern, which is one of the richest and most distinct patterns found in meteorites.
Warthog tusk scales are set on anodized, fileworked titanium liners and give a uniquely African feel. Excellent fit and finish with a perfectly centered blade and great action.
