Description: Bladesmith Peter Bromley specializes in historical recreations. His work is both creative and historically accurate. William Broadhurst made bowies in the Sheffield style between 1849-1860. This replica of a Broadhurst Bowie features checkered rosewood scales for a very comfortable grip. The nickel silver guard, spacer, and butt bring the weight back toward the handle for a very fast knife in the hand. The edge quench and soft back draw assures that this Bowie will have exceptional edge retention with the durability resulting from the softened spine. Exceptional work throughout on a knife that is very true to tradition!
