Description: Bladesmith Peter Bromley is well known for creating replicas that capture the spirit of the original work and yet adds to it. His attention to detail is spectacular. Samuel Bell, noted jeweler and knifemaker from the early 1800s was known for his fancy Bowies -- only 14 of which still survive today.
The blade features edge quenched carbon steel, which will assure a strong, long lasting edge. It features a strong fuller and false edged clip. The Spanish notch adds tremendous interest. Nickel silver fittings are used throughout, creating a nice contrast with the fossilized mammoth ivory scales. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
